If you’ve made the big decision of opting for an egg donor, then you may have a few questions. Will I know the identity of my egg donor? Do I get the option to meet them? Will I be able to keep my anonymity? These are all valid questions and we’re here to give you the answers.

Firstly, the majority of egg donations we are part of remain anonymous. However, if it’s agreed between the donor and the intended parent, then we are happy to arrange a conference call with an agency representative present. This will be a great time to put a voice to a name, ask some questions and get to know the other person, all the while keeping anonymity.

If, however, you were part of an open or known donation and wanted to meet the other person face to face, we would be happy to arrange a meeting in a public place. It’s important to note that the intended parents will be responsible for paying the egg donor travel fees for meeting.
